I re-circulate cartoons and articles about Gaza. I recently received hate mail and death threats. All anonymous. I don’t even know if the threats come from NZ, the US or anywhere else. I have deleted them. Blocked the names.
I have always wanted to know “threat” people more. I want to know names, addresses, occupations and family backgrounds. But, alas, conscience does make many cowards especially when your name is anonymous. Years ago I worked in a Pacific country and received hate mail for helping a student who was being bullied by an educational authority and some outsiders . I replied to three of the many email anonymous writers asking to meet in a public place for a chat. There were no replies.
Netanyahu talks about total elimination of Hamas which is a established political movement with a philosophy, power and guns But, Hamas can no more be eliminated in the Middle East that you could eliminate all the people in NZ who think and support National, Labour, NZ First, Act or any any political movement.
